The South Windsor Soccer Club was established in 1987 as a non-profit and by all accounts came to be at the dining room table of a few coaches looking to make things better for the children in our community.
Over time the club focused on instilling the youth of the town principles of good citizenship, good sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, loyalty and respect for authority, through the knowledge of and association with the sport of soccer. The club wished to provide the opportunity for all players to play at the level at which they are capable.
The mission of the South Windsor Soccer Club is to encourage a positive learning experience for the development of soccer players in our community by providing soccer training and personal growth opportunities to youth players of all ages and playing abilities. Our club is committed to offering a superior soccer experience and passion for the game of soccer. Our top priority as a club is to encourage each player and coach to reach the highest achievable level within the game of soccer and in life while helping create leaders and individuals that will inspire others to do the same.
Approximately 1,000 youth athletes in town participate amongst the hundreds of adult volunteers. The club symbolizes the commitment we have to the children of our community.
