  • Covid-19 update 4/2/20

    Posted April 5, 2020

Over the past few weeks, we have been discussing options for our spring soccer season.  As you know, news is rapidly changing and it is difficult to anticipate a specific date when social distancing guidelines will relax to a degree that we feel comfortable on the field.

With your family’s health our primary focus, we have decided to cancel our spring 2020 season.  We know that your children are looking forward to being with their friends and participating in activities like soccer, and we are very disappointed to make this difficult decision.  Our sincere hope is to be able to offer soccer programs in some form as soon as it is safe to do so.  We anticipate making an assessment in May as to the possibility of summer soccer.

In the meantime, we will be issuing refunds to all families.  Please have patience as we have several hundreds of accounts to process. Thank you for your continued support and we can’t wait to see you and your children on the fields.

We value our coaches and recognize the hard work and dedication of our volunteers. As a small token of our thanks, we will now offer a coaching discount in the form of registration reimbursement. Here's how it works:

In-House Recreational Soccer Coaches will receive reimbursement at season end.
(1) Head coach - 50% off*
(1) Assistant coach -40% off*

Competitive Travel Coaches will receive reimbursement at season end.
(1) Head coach - 50% off*
(2) Assistant coaches/managers - 40% off*

*Excluding late fees
Paid coaches do not qualify for this discount

As a reminder, our coaching standards remain the same:
-Coaches should register prior to registration close.
-Travel coaches should work with the Registrar and DOC and meet necessary administrative deadlines.
-Attendance at coaches meetings by one appropriate member of the team is mandatory. This includes uniform/equipment pick up for Recreational teams.
-Coaches must pick up and return club issued equipment as required.
-Coaches should attend 75% of games and practices.
-All coaches must adhere to codes of conduct and maintain appropriate conduct at games and practices both as a spectator and coach. Disciplinary action will include a review of reimbursement qualification.
