  • Field Curfew in Effect

    Posted September 25, 2019
Thanks for your patience as we work around the town imposed field curfew.  Our soccer fields see about 1000 practices and games each season so it's a big job to readjust and we're working hard to make things as smooth as possible.

At this point, it looks as if the curfew will remain in effect for the foreseeable future. The town is looking towards a hard frost as a solution to the mosquito issue.  After much discussion, we have arranged the attached schedule changes effective tomorrow, Thursday, 9/26.

Practices will be held from 5-5:30 each weeknight (see days for your age group on the attached document).  Trainers will run Rec practices clinic style at Rye.  If travel coaches are unavailable at 5pm, players should attend these clinics.  Additionally, practice time will be allotted prior to each home game on weekends.

These changes are NOT currently shown in your Team Connect app and will take some time to update.  Please use this schedule as well as any communications from your coach going forward.  This schedule is in effect until the town lifts the curfew.
